Our Near Infrared FP mRNA encodes an ultra-bright reporter protein that fluoresces near the infrared spectrum (Ex/Em = 640/670 nm), unlocking distinct in vitro and in vivo imaging applications. Near Infrared FP mRNA is compatible with in vivo studies as it is less affected by tissue autofluorescence than other fluorescent reporters (e.g., EGFP, mCherry).
Our Near Infrared FP mRNA incorporates a Cap1 structure (biologically superior to Cap0), highly expressing 5’ and 3’ UTRs, a 100-nt poly(A) tail, and a codon-optimized open reading frame. Choose from unmodified or modified (N1-methylpseudouridine or 5-methoxyuridine) bases. Both types of modified bases have been shown to enhance protein expression in vitro and in vivo.
Our robust purification process eliminates dsRNA contaminants and other reaction components, resulting in highly pure mRNA capable of inducing very high protein expression levels in diverse cell types, while causing almost no innate immune activation (virtually undetectable).
Like all our mRNA, our Near Infrared FP mRNA comes in a ready-to-use 1 mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.5). This buffer ensures optimal mRNA stability and shelf-life. Simply complex with your preferred transfection reagent and go. Alternatively, speak to us about our ready-to-transfect mRNA-LNP formulations or our DIY LNP solutions.
We understand that every research project is unique. If you need help with mRNA design/production or require a different mRNA quantity, a specific type of modified base, or further information about our Near Infrared FP mRNA, send us an email at hello@messenger.bio and we’ll be happy to help.
